Insulator :
Features :
Silicone's hydrophobic property allows Insulators to electrically outperform porcelain insulators. The lightweight feature of polymer insulators makes them easy to handle, install and transport. Our transmission insulators are manufactured and tested per IEC standards at Government approved testing facility.
Our Insulators have special design to overlap Silicone Rubber over the end fitting eliminating conventional and traditional seal defects
Benefits of Silicone Material:
Comparing with ceramic insulator, Silicon Insulator has following characteristics:
- Good hydrophobicity and anti-aging ability, anti-leakage marking and anti-electric corrosion
- Light Weight, only 1/7-1/10 of the weight of ceramic, easy installation and transportation thus saving on transportation and handling.
- Higher transverse intensity, anti-impulse, anti-shock and breakage-free. Reduces accident caused by ceramic insulator structural damage.
- Installation dimensions of top and bottom comply with the ceramic ones and easy to be exchanged.
- Hot water washing is not required in silicon rubber insulator which is mandatory in porcelain.
