ROCKINSUL RB
ROCKINSUL RB Slabs are semi-rigid and rigid boards manufactured from stable stone fibers bonded with minimum quantity of thermosetting resin binder. ROCKINSUL RB Slabs are capable of withstanding the extreme temperature up to 750 C. ROCKINSUL RB Slabs are light in weight, strong, resilient, easy to handle and cut to suit intricate shapes.
Facings
ROCKINSUL Slabs are available unfaced or with a facing of glass reinforced Aluminium foil/Kraft paper laminate facing (FSK) and Black fiber Glass Tissue (BGT).
ROCKINSUL RB Slabs are non-combustible when tested in accordance with IS 3144, BS 476 (part 4), ISO 1182 and ASTM E 136 and have the following fire safety rating

Fire Safety
1. Class 1 surface spread of flame in accordance to BS 476 (part 7).
2. Class 0 in accordance to the BS 476 (part 6 and part 7) and to British Building Regulations
3. Class A1 in accordance to european norms
4. Show loss in total mass, less than 5% when tested in accordance to IS 3144
5. Surface burning characteristics in accordance to ASTM E 84
a.Fire Spread Index: Less than 25
b.Smoke Developed Index: Less than 50
Sulphur Content
Rockinsul RB Slabs contain less than 2% of moisture when tested in accordance to IS 3144.:
Moisture Content
Rockinsul RB Slabs do not show any mould or bacterial growth when tested in accordance to IS 3144.
Resistance To Micro-Organism
Rockinsul RB Slabs do not show any apparent difference in odour and pass the criteria when tested in accordance to IS 3144.
Odour Emission
Rockinsul RB Slabs do not show more than 1% by height of settlement when tested in accordance to IS 3144.
Resistance To Vibration
Rockinsul RB Slabs do not show more than 3% by height of settlement when tested in accordance to IS 3144.
Resistance To Jolting
Rockinsul RB Slabs do not show any visible deterioration in fibrous structure when heated to 750 C when tested in accordance to IS 3144.
Heat Resistance
pH of the solution is between 7.0 - 10.0 when tested in accordance to IS 3144.
ROCKINSUL RB Slabs comply with the following standards and are manufactured to a quality assurance system which complies with ISO 9001:2008.
To store for long duration, should be stored indoor. If stored outside, it should be-stacked clear of ground and covered with a securely anchored weather proof sheet. It should not be left exposed to weather.
